I'm a design researcher conducting mixed methods research, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform

user-centered experiences. My research focuses on designing interactions for behavior change; understanding audiences in digital and physical environments; and the role of experience design on cognition and meaning-making.

Previously, I worked as an interactive art director and graphic designer in advertising and for non-profits, and have experience in teaching college-level design courses.

For eight semesters I had the opportunity to teach undergraduate design courses during which students investigated relationships among settings, people, and objects; learned about and practiced various design research methods; worked on UI/UX designs and prototypes; gained necessary software and programming skills to convey their research results and design solutions; and worked individually and in teams.
